Roaring 20 winner: Saulisbury Business Machines Inc.

While some companies attribute their success to their employees, others say it’s their outstanding customer service. For Saulisbury Business Machines Inc., it’s the blend of retaining both employees and clients.

“Client and employee retention is the key,” said Dale Saulisbury, company president. “We consider our clients and employees as one big happy family working together. Providing our clients with the latest technology and equipment available leaves our competition in the dust.”

Saulisbury attributes the company’s growth to management’s having a vision for the future and a desire to grow.

“We install this vision in our dedicated employees, who then provide each customer with the best products and service available,” he said.

The company constantly educates its employees on new products and services and is always willing to keep up with clients’ needs.

Saulisbury’s revenue increased 59% between 2005 and 2006.

The company’s future plans include continued growth in its Charleston and Myrtle Beach markets while expanding business from the North Carolina border all along the coast to Georgia, Saulisbury said.
