Trident Medical Center has promoted April Reeder to vice president of operations. Reeder had been assistant vice president of operations.
SGA Architecture LLC has hired Marissa Lehigh and Robert Lucas as project managers. Lehigh, who was an architectural assistant at Ian Springford Architects in Edinburgh, Scotland, specializes in multi-family residential and hospitality architecture. Lucas, who has more than seven years experience in the architectural profession, specializes in custom residential and commercial architecture.
Mark Davis has joined Berenyi Inc. as a civil engineer and is designing and planning land development. David Bordner has joined the firm as a landscape architect intern.
Margaret Wilson Sembos has joined Kestrel Horizons LLCs Charleston office. She is a registered professional engineer with more than nine years experience. Previously, Sembos was employed with Wilbur Smith & Associates in Columbia.

American LaFrance LLCs parent company, Patriarch Partners Management Group, has hired Bill Hinz as the managing director and leader for the aero, auto and truck platform, which includes American LaFrance, Global Automotive Systems and MD Helicopters. Hinz is responsible for the daily operations at American LaFrance and the senior staff reports directly to him. Hinz spent almost 30 years at Allied Signal where he served as the president of Worldwide Aftermarket Repair and Overhaul and Distribution as well as president and CEO of European Operations.

Maureen Sheridan has joined Charlestowne Hotels as the general manager of the King Charles Inn. Sheridan has more than 20 years experience in the hotel industry.

WCIV-TV has hired James Church as vice president for news and operations. Church oversees both the news department and the technical infrastructure for the station. Church comes to WCIV from WJLA-TV, a sister station in Washington, D.C., where he served as vice president for station operations and technology.
