Clifford F. Schneider has been named vice president of Stewardship and Sustainability, MeadWestvacos newly formed group. Schneider is a longtime forester who joined the company in 1976 and has worked on issues related to forestry, climate change, supply chain analysis, certification and industry policy.
JW Aluminum Co. has hired Craig Eddy as vice president of business development. Eddy reports to Don Kassing, president and CEO. Before joining JWA, Eddy was president and CEO of Coastal Aluminum Rolling Mills Inc.
Jennifer DeWitt has been named executive director of the Lowcountry Manufacturers Council. DeWitt is responsible for managing the organization, overseeing all programs and events, growing the membership and developing relationships with community partners. Prior to accepting this position, DeWitt was the business development manager for the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
