EAST COOPER HABITAT CELEBRATES COMPLETION OF COMMUNITY
East Cooper Habitat for Humanity recently celebrated the completion of Hope Row, a 14-home community located on Eagle Street in the Greenhill Community of Mount Pleasant. Homeowners received rose boutonnières donated by Belvas. Children were treated to face painting and balloons by Susan Fedor. Joe Gunter and his wife donated the music. Food was provided by Sticky Fingers and Papa Johns. Door prizes were donated by local businesses.
GINN EXPOUNDS ON AREAS ATTRIBUTES TO ROTARY
David Ginn, director of the Charleston Regional Development Alliance, shown right, was a guest speaker at Oakbrook Rotary. Ginn spoke about the attractive attributes of the tri-county region, noting

PIGGLY WIGGLY WINS PRESERVATION AWARD
The Meeting Street Piggly Wiggly located at 445 Meeting St. in downtown Charleston was presented with a Carolopolis Award for new construction at the annual meeting of The Preservation Society of Charleston. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CREATES TOURIST PACK
The Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce Tourism Council recently developed its first Summerville Tourist Pack filled with information, maps and coupons for area restaurants, plantations, shopping locations and natural attractions.
