The 2006 Book of Lists commercial/industrial real estate brokers listing on page 46 should have listed Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic International Inc.s top local executive as Raymond J. Case.
Zoning
The story Zoning change could bring high-rise condos to Folly Beach that ran in the Jan. 23 issue incorrectly stated that the developer of a potential condo project was from Edisto.
Also the sentence that indicated that the developer would possibly build a high-rise like Follys never seen before was taken out of context from an e-mail sent by real estate agent Chris Bird, who is involved with the project.
The story should have reflected that in the e-mail, in which the developer was asking for a variance on the minimum number of parking spaces from four per unit to two, that the developer would like to build no more than four living levels high. This proposal will enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property and community and show good faith to the Folly Beach Residents.
The e-mail went on to say that the way the zoning ordinance for parking is written, will force someone to build a high-rise unlike anything Folly Beach has ever seen and/or wants.
