IDEA HOUSE OPENING DRAWS MORE THAN 300

More than 300 people, including Southern Living representatives Bill McDougald (left) and Tim Watson, attended the opening of the Southern Living Idea House on Daniel Island. The house will be open to the public until October, and a portion of all ticket sells will go to the Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Hospital and the Charles P. Darby Children’s Research Institute. By the end of July, more than 7,000 visitors had already toured the home.

CHARLESTON COLORS RETURN TO SHERWIN-WILLIAMS

Sherwin-Williams and Duron Paints & Wallcoverings used the occasion of the opening of the Southern Living Idea House on Daniel Island to reintroduce the company’s Charleston-inspired lines of paints, Colors of Historic Charleston and the Carolina Lowcountry Collection.
