The Footlight Players named Jennifer Metts president and Andra L. Watkins first vice president of the board of directors. Metts, co-owner of Slicker Inc., previously served as the board’s second vice president. Watkins, owner of Positus Consulting LLC, has been a member of the board for one year.

Bradish J. Waring, a member in Nexsen Pruet’s Charleston office, was inducted as president of the South Carolina Bar during ceremonies held at the bar’s House of Delegates meeting.

Amy Van Pinxten, a CPA with Gamble Givens & Moody LLC, has been elected to the board of directors of the Lowcountry Food Bank.

Humanities Foundation promoted John A. Henry Jr. to executive director for the Charleston-based nonprofit organization. Henry previously served as the vice president of real estate.

The Town of Mount Pleasant named Christopher W. Nickels, a litigation attorney and member of Clawson and Staubes LLC, to the board of zoning appeals.

Mary Jane Hall, senior vice president of human resources for Rockwell Automation, joined the board of advisors for MAU Inc.

Paul Heinauer, president of Glasspro Inc., was named to the National Glass Association’s Auto Glass Committee.
