Credit union managers wash employees cars
Senior managers at S.C. Federal Credit Union are trading in their business attire for sponges and hoses to show their appreciation for employees. As part of a program to recognize employees during the credit unions Get Hooked Up loan promotion, senior managers wash the car of the winning employee. Julys employee winner was Luellen Brandemuehl, a branch service representative at the credit unions Summerville location. Association launches fundraising campaign
The Trident Literacy Association recently launched its Committee of 200 fundraising campaign, which seeks 200 businesses and individuals willing to pledge $1,000 each for two consecutive years. The money will be used to fund a learning center in downtown Charleston. Among the first Committee of 200 members are, from left, Kate Boehm-Jerome, Karen Sywolski, Anita Zucker, Jerry Zucker, Harriet Rigney, Betty Nielsen and Rachel Hutchisson.
Company begins entrepreneur program
Performax hosted a professional preview at the Harbour Club to launch a new program, Learning Immersion Forum for Entrepreneurs. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the LIFE program and also participate in a peer advisory activity.
