COMPANIES TEAM UP AT CONFERENCE:

CATERING COMPANY RAISED TO NEW HEIGHTS:

Steve Wenger (pictured) and his company, Stephen Duvall Catering & Events, catered the first event atop the new Cooper River bridge. The private lunches and dinners benefited the American Heart Association, Spoleto Festival USA, the Charleston Catholic School and the Ronald McDonald House.

TIGER LILY NAMED TOP BUSINESS RUNNER UP:

The South Carolina Small Business Administration recognized Tiger Lilyowners as Small Business Persons of the Year Runner Up. Representing the Lowcountry as Charleston’s Small Business of the Year 2004, Tiger Lily, operated by co-owners Clara and Manny Gonzales, competed against numerous businesses from around the state that were nominated by their city’s chamber of commerce.

CHAMBER MEMBERS LEARN ABOUT CAREER SERVICES:

Paul Connerty, Trident One-Stop Career System’s director, shares an overview of the services and programs offered through the One-Stop Career System with attendees at a Berkeley Chamber of Commerce breakfast. The goal of the One-Stop Career System is to improve the quality of the workforce and enhance workforce productivity to aid in the growth of the region’s economy.
